Matthew Toohey for the poster entitled: Click here to download the poster as pdf-file. Matthew Toohey received a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Toronto, and is now a post-doctoral researcher at IFM-GEOMAR in Kiel, Germany. His current research involves simulating large-scale volcanic eruptions within the ECHAM5 General Circulation Model. His poster presented at EGU 2010 focuses on simulations of the Los Chocoyos eruption of 84000 years ago in present-day Guatemala, and explores how stratospheric volcanic aerosol distributions, and related climatic anomalies, depend on the season of eruption. This poster will be published on the EGU YSOPP webpage: http://www.egu.eu/fileadmin/files/awards/union_ysopp_award/2010/2010_toohey.pdf
