![]() 3D gravity model assembled (04/2006)Gathering of gravity data and collection further information about the working area of the SFB 574 in central america allowed us to assamble a first 3D gravity model of the region. Calculation of FreeAir- and Bouguer-anomalies have been carried out. In another step, combination and homogenization of the gravity data was an important, hence time-consuming task - resulting in the shown model. Further gravity field analysis (e.g. curvature analysis and Euler deconvolution) deliver important constrains for the construction of the first density model. |
